How to create your CV?

Ines basic information

☑️ Step 1

Open the Europass CV editor.

☑️ Step 2

You will see two options:

❌ Continue without creating a profile

  • You will not be able to return to your CV if you close the website.
  • You must complete your CV in one session or keep the page open

✅ Create Europass profile

  •  You will be able to return to your CV at any time and edit it later.

❌ If you do not want to create a profile, click the X in the top-right corner of the screen.

✅ If you do want to create a profile:

  • Click Register
  • Click Create an account
  • Fill in the required information

After registering, you should receive a verification email within 5–10 minutes. Follow the instructions in the email to confirm your account and create a password.

☑️ Step 3

Set your language preference.

  • You can keep the interface in English or change it to Croatian.
  • Even if the interface is in English, you can still complete your CV in Croatian.

The website is very intuitive, so navigating and filling out the CV should be straightforward.

☑️ Step 4

Start working on your CV.

  • Make sure you select the correct language for your CV (see the image below).
  • Begin with the Personal Information section.

Once you complete the introductory section, you can continue adding other categories. At a minimum, include the sections that appear in Ines’ CV. You can see the full list of available sections in the image below.

Continue working on your CV until all required sections are complete.

☑️ Step 5

When you are finished, scroll to the bottom of the page and click Next (or Sljedeće if your interface language is set to Croatian).

☑️ Step 6

In the final step:

  • Choose a CV template
  • Name your file
  • Save your CV as a PDF
⚠️  Europass does not allow you to save your CV as a Word document—only as a PDF.
