Cjelina 8: Tradicionalna hrana
🧭 Cjelina 8: Pregled

RIBANJE I RIBARSKO PRIGOVARANJE (English, Fishing and Fishermen’s Conversation) — A philosophical narrative poem [published in 1568] was written by Petar Hektorović (1487-1572). It is one of the most important literary works of the Croatian Renaissance. In his work, Hektorović describes his three-day boat trip from Hvar to Brač and Šolta, accompanied by Hrvar fishermen. For this unit symbol, we see traditional fishing tools from Hektorović’s time. Over the centuries, this tool has been modernized, but in its core it still remains the same and used in present day Croatia.

- You will need to ask the waiter for some clarifications and recommendations.
- Mention your possible food allergies, ask more information about specific dishes of your interest.
- Ask about house recommendations on what to eat and drink at the restaurant.
- Give a compliment or make a comment on the food.
- Ask for the check and about payment methods.
