It’s time for shopping, and no one wants to spend money without thinking. In Zagreb, Laura and Sandra browse for something practical but stylish, while in Split, Luka and Matija try to choose the right look. Shoes, jackets, prices, sizes — everyone has something to say, but not everyone knows what to buy. The question isn’t how much to spend, but what’s worth it.

Laura: Ma nema problema. I ja sam upravo stigla.
Sandra: Baš je hladno danas. Temperatura je jako niska.
Laura: Da, bit će hladno cijeli sljedeći tjedan. Nego, kamo idemo prvo?
Sandra: Mislila sam da prvo odemo na kavu, a zatim u Arena Centar.
Laura: Super! Tamo ima veliki izbor.
Sandra: A što želiš kupiti?
Laura: Mislila sam pogledati neku jaknu, cipele, čizme… Ne znam, moram vidjeti kakav je izbor.
Sandra: Mislim da ćeš sigurno naći nešto u Areni.
Laura: A ti, želiš li također nešto pogledati ?
Sandra: Mislila sam pogledati neke cipele. Idem na vjenčanje sljedeći mjesec.
Laura: A što ćeš obući?
Sandra: Planiram obući onu moju zelenu haljinu. A torbu ću posuditi od Ivane. Trebaju mi samo cipele.
Laura: A ja ti mogu posuditi moju ogrlicu. Onu koju sam nosila prošli vikend. Mislim da će ti dobro ići uz haljinu.
Sandra: Super! Hvala ti, baš si srce!!!

6.4.a Zadatak 8: Što ti se više sviđa?

Look at the following pictures and decide which item is nicer in each pair. Follow the pattern on how to formulate the answer based on your previous conclusion about jackets.

Now talk with your classmates to see which items you all like more. Make a note of their answers. You will need to present your findings to your instructor for each set. Be careful how you formulate your question and/or answer – what verb, gender, and number you need to use. Example: Koja majica je ljepša? – Plava majica je ljepša.
