✏️ 3 | 1 | Lekcija 2: Krv nije voda – Domaći

Što smo naučili?

📝  Welcome to today’s homework! This is your chance to review what we covered in class and practice a little more. If anything feels tricky, make a note of it and bring your questions to our next session. Ready? Let’s get started!

3.1.2 Zadatak 1: James i njegova obitelj

Review James’ family tree and answer the questions with da (yes) or ne (no). The first sentence is about James and his family. Decide whether James would say this based on the family tree. The second sentence is about you. Do you have the same family member?

3.1.2 Zadatak 2: Davor i njegova obitelj

Members of Davor’s family are presented below in a specific pair. Take the role of the first person listed and then state what your relationship is to the second person in the pair. Write complete sentences. The first pair is done for you.

🟢 In English: If you look at Davor’s family tree again, which consists of two main families – Horvat and Pintarić – why does the last name Labaš suddenly appear within the family tree?

3.1.2 Zadatak 3: Tko govori?

Use Davor’s family tree as a point of reference. Look at the beginning of the sentence. Pay attention to who is talking and finish the sentence with a logical ending.

3.1.2 Zadatak 4: Mario i njegova obitelj

During the listening you’ll hear several different last names. If needed, listen to the presentation several times. Match the appropriate first and last name with each character.

❗ Before completing the task, we recommend creating a family tree and assigning a last name to each person mentioned in the audio. This will help you organize the information and make it easier to complete the next part of the task.

Mario and his extended family

🟢 In English: (1) Why did you give each character that specific last name? (2) What is the reasoning behind your answer? (3) Who in the family has the same first name? Is that a pure coincidence? Explain your answer.

3.1.2 Zadatak 5: Moja obitelj

👥 Rad u paru: You need to meet virtually with a classmate to talk about your family members . After your discussion, submit your completed assignment through our Learning Management System.

In class you already worked on your family tree. Add any relatives that you may not have included originally. Visually organize your family tree and meet with another classmate. Present to each other your family and relatives. Your classmate will ask you additional questions about them, such as – occupation, traits, and physical characteristics. Submit your video recording online.

❗ If you’re not participating in the class, take a moment to reflect on this assignment. How would you introduce your family members if someone asked you about them in a real conversation?
