While Laura is strolling through Sarajevo, James is already back in Split after his one-day adventure. Both have had a taste of something new. Short or long, their getaways were full of new sights, sounds, and impressions. And now that everyone’s (almost) back, there’s only one way to wrap it up: with a coffee and a good debrief. For James and Matija, it’s also the perfect time to start thinking about where to go next.

Listen carefully to your classmates while they are presenting on their cities. Which one is your favorite? Talk with the classmate who talked about your favorite place. Provide him/her with your comments about their city. Say why you like the city, and what is (are) your favorite location(s) from what you saw. Say what else you want to do in the city. Finally, ask additional questions about the city. For example: (1) where does your classmate usually like to go with friends, (2) where do they usually go when they have free time, (3) what is their favorite spot in the city, etc.

Matija:  I, kakav je Šibenik?
James: Šibenik je odličan. Sviđa mi se katedrala, a i tvrđave su lijepe. Plaže su odlične. Šteta što je more već hladno i nije ugodno plivati.
Matija:  Da, more je sada već hladno. A slapovi Krke?
James: Slapovi su stvarno lijepi – slapovi, jezera, šume. Znaš, sljedeći mjesec fakultet organizira izlet u Zadar i Nin.
Matija:  To je super prilika za upoznati Dalmaciju.
James: Istina, ali ja jedva čekam ići u Zagreb i u Dubrovnik.
Matija:  Ja planiram ići u Zagreb za Novu godinu. Ako nemaš planove, možemo zajedno? A izlet u Dubrovnik možda možemo planirati svi zajedno – Luka, Ines, ti i ja?
James: Sviđa mi se ideja. Ne planiram ići kući za Novu godinu. Želim ostati ovdje za praznike.
