2.3.1 Zadatak 3: Kamo idu?
Choose two people close to you. For each person, write three sentences describing what they do and where they go. Use the actions and locations provided. You should write a total of six sentences.
How to do the assignment?
Pick a person from list (I), associate certain actions from list (II), and say where they go from list (III) to make a full statement describing their action. You will need to use an appropriate preposition for each destination.
❗ You need to start with a possessive pronoun and you have to have the verb ići (‘to go’) in your sentence.
- Example sentence: Moj profesor — ide predavati — na fakultet.

💻 Video recording: In today’s lesson you learned about James and his knowledge about Split. Similar to James, Laura also needs to prepare a presentation about Zagreb. Help Laura prepare her presentation. What should she include in her presentation? Use the class dialogue as a model.
2.3.1 Zadatak 5: Kako se kaže?
How would you describe the following situations in Croatian?

- How would you say that there are a lot of things that one can do in the city?
- How would you ask your friend how things are going? (To get the answer, look at the second dialogue between James and Matija in today’s lesson).
- How would you say that you are busy and have a lot to do?
- How would you accept the invitation and express your gratitude?
2.3.1 Zadatak 6: Ljudi i aktivnosti
1️⃣ Before you start working with your classmates, listen to the dialogues from our class session. It will help you organize your ideas for a written dialogue with your classmates. Be sure to gather all necessary information about your day and your city prior to working with a classmate.
❗ Things to think about before you meet with your classmate:
- Your daily (usual) routine.
- What do you have for breakfast/lunch/dinner?
- Activities on your own and with friends during your free time.
- Where do you go and why do you go there?
- What can we see in your city?
- Where do people and tourists usually go?
2️⃣ When you have all the information, work with a classmate to create a dialogue about your daily activities and your city (use a Google doc). Using the information your classmate provides about his/her city, give your opinion on where you want to go in his/her city. In your Google doc settings, allow your instructor to edit your document if needed.
