After a sunny afternoon of sightseeing, it’s time to rest those feet and grab a coffee. ☕  🥐 Laura and James have just finished their city tours, Zagreb and Split didn’t disappoint! Now, over snacks and small talk with their friends, they’re sharing first impressions. What did they like? What surprised them? And how do their new cities compare to San Francisco or Austin?

Mario: I što misliš, Laura? Kakav je Zagreb? Je li Zagreb kao i San Francisco?
Laura:  Odlična tura, Mario! Mislim da je Zagreb lijep grad! Ima predivne spomenike. Parkovi su uredni i lijepi. Kula Lotrščak je zanimljivo mjesto. Dolac je interesantan, šarolik i ima tradiciju. Jako lijepa lokacija je i Trg svetoga Marka. Ilica je zanimljiva. Ima barove, restorane, dućane. To je glavna ulica, je li tako?
Sandra: Da, tako je. Ilica je glavna ulica.
Davor:  Jednog dana želim posjetiti tvoj grad. Mislim da je San Francisco zanimljiv grad i da ima bogatu kulturu i povijest. To je pravo multikulturalno mjesto.
Laura: Da, u pravu si. San Francisco ima bogatu povijest. Arhitektura je zanimljiva. San Francisco ima parkove, muzeje i kazališta. No, popularno odredište je i zatvor Alcatraz.
Davor:  Koje su poznate četvrti?
Laura:  Pa, na primjer, Castro četvrt ili Kineska četvrt. Definitivno moraš posjetiti San Francisco.
Mario:  Laura, što misliš, da sljedeći vikend posjetimo Jarun i Bundek?
Laura:  Dogovoreno! Jedva čekam. Ti si odličan vodič!
Sandra:  A sad, idemo na kavu.

Ines:  Onda, James, kakav je Split?
James:  Mislim da je Split stvarno lijep grad i ima bogatu povijest. Ovo je pravi mediteranski grad. Palača je jako zanimljiva i katedrala je lijepa. Galerija Meštrović je zanimljiva galerija i predivna lokacija. Moje omiljeno mjesto je Peristil. To je predivan trg.
Matija:  Što misliš, je li Split kao i Austin?
James:  Moj grad nije star kao i Split. No, mislim da su ljudi i ovdje opušteni. Split ima more, a Austin ima jezero i rijeku.
Ines:  Texas je daleko, ali jednog dana želim posjetiti Austin. Mislim da je zanimljiv grad i da ima bogatu kulturu.
James:  Da, Austin je glazbeno središte. Ima dobre klubove i barove. Također, ima predivnu prirodu, zanimljive muzeje, odlične restorane i zanimljivu arhitekturu. Popularne lokacije su, na primjer, botanički vrt, glavna šoping ulica, sveučilište i knjižnica. Definitivno moraš posjetiti grad.
Ines:  Jednog dana…
Luka:  Što mislite, sljedeći vikend – rafting?
Matija:  Dobra ideja!
James:  Jedva čekam.
