Planning the trip continues, and now it’s time to choose where to stay. Ines, James, and Matija compare different apartments, looking closely at location, price, size, and small details that make a difference — a balcony, a view, walking distance, or a short drive. Ratings are checked, pros and cons are weighed, and several good options are on the table.

Ines: Oba stana su dobra. Sviđaju mi se.
James: A jesi li ti našla stan?
Ines: Da. Vedran je superhost. Ima rejting 4.96. Cijena za dvije noći, od petka do nedjelje, iznosi 198 eura. Ima super pogled. Stan je moderan, ima balkon. Nalazi se zapadno od stare jezgre. Ima dvije sobe, dva kreveta, veliku dnevnu sobu i jednu kupaonicu. Udaljen je pet minuta autom do staroga grada.

Before we continue talking about booking a place for a weekend, and discussing how it looks, what is the better option to book, etc. – let’s see how to express where certain things are. Remember when James was initially learning some basic vocabulary? Now, he’s trying to learn how to express the position of things – where things are located around him.

👥 Rad u paru. Work with one of your classmates. Use the following Google slides and complete both parts of the assignment. Part 1 (slide 2), answer the questions listed below. Part 2, arrange the furniture – more instructions below.

Research online for accommodation in Dubrovnik. This can be any source that you would use when traveling and searching for accommodation. Collect the necessary information. Listen carefully while your classmates present their findings. You will need to compare all of your findings and provide comments, just like you did above for apartments that our students from Split found.
