10.1.3 Zadatak 1: San Francisco

Look at the map and tell us more about Laura’s city. Imagine that you are Laura. Tell us what we need to visit there and why, where those tourist attractions are located, which areas of San Francisco are a must-see and where they are located in comparison to where Laura lives. Every location that you mention should be from Laura’s perspective.

Laura živi u četvrti koja se zove Mission. Ona govori što treba vidjeti i posjetiti u gradu. Također, ona govori i o popularnim četvrtima u San Franciscu.

10.1.3 Zadatak 2: Što posjetiti u Varaždinu?

Listen to the two dialogues from Unit 6. In the first one, our students in Zagreb are discussing where to go and what to see in Varaždin. In the second one, Sandra and Davor were talking more about Varaždin. Davor was giving suggestions on what to visit there. While listening, write down all the locations that were mentioned (dialogue 1 and dialogue 2).

Now that you have all locations. Imagine that you are on the main square in Varaždin – Trg kralja Tomislava. Where are all the places of interest located in the city from the perspective of being on the main square?  You need to use Google maps for easier orientation. An example (not from the dialogue) is given for you below.

💻  This task is a continuation of the assignment from our class session. Based on the information that you wrote in class, prepare a video presentation on the city where you want to go to celebrate your birthday. Help us envision the city, how it looks, how it is organized, and other information from class session.
