Cjelina 1: Dobro došli!

✏️ 1 | 3 | Lekcija 2: Moji prijatelji – Homework

Što smo naučili?

📝  Welcome to today’s homework! This is your chance to review what we covered in class and practice a little more. If anything feels tricky, make a note of it and bring your questions to our next session. Ready? Let’s get started!

1.3.2 Zadatak 1. Matija i Antonio

🔊 Ready to test your listening skills? Listen to the dialogue between Matija and Antonio and answer the questions that follow. The same audio is embedded with each question. This setup is intentional. It gives you a great chance to hear the dialogue multiple times and get more comfortable with the language. So take your time, listen closely, and have fun practicing! — Note: You can also listen to it once at the beginning and take detailed notes, whatever works best for you! You always have a chance to play it again.

1.3.2 Zadatak 2. Prijatelji

🔊 Listen to the story that Sandra tells about her friends and provide the missing information about each character. You might need to listen to the audio a few times to complete the task, and that’s totally okay! It’s all about repetition. Practice makes perfect! 🙂

1.3.2 Zadatak 3. Moj grad

1️⃣ Upload a video recording of your presentation to our Learning Management System (LMS) course. For this assignment you need to prepare Google slides about yourself and your city. Follow the examples on this page and in the listening section from our class session. Tell us about yourself and your city (what it looks like) and include at least 4 locations that someone should see/visit when there. Provide your opinion about each location.

2️⃣ Watch the presentations of your peers. You will need to take notes about your classmates and their presentations. During the next class session, you will be paired with someone in your class to discuss what you learned about other classmates.

As you already know, Luka (along with Ines and Matija) is always there to help James learn new words, phrases, and sentence patterns. But they don’t just hand him the answers. Instead, they guide him and actively take part in his learning process. When James was asked to prepare a presentation about his city for language class, Luka stepped in with a mock presentation to help him get ready. Take a look at Luka’s example (just a part of it) and use it as inspiration when creating your own presentation. You’ve got this!
