Kad sam bio mlađi, sanjao sam o životu u velikom gradu. Nakon srednje škole otišao sam na studij u Zagreb i bilo mi je odlično. Živio sam tamo pet godina — uvijek nešto novo, puno ljudi, brzi ritam. Ali s vremenom sam shvatio da to nije za mene i da me iscrpljuje. Danas volim otići u kratki posjet prijateljima u Zagreb, posjetiti rodbinu u Splitu ili otići do Marina u Zadar. Sve je to lijepo, ali ipak mi je najdraže vratiti se kući.
Danas više cijenim ono što mi otok daje: mir, prirodu, jednostavnost života. Nije da bježim od grada i tehnologije, ali ne želim da mi to diktira život. Ponekad prođe i po nekoliko dana da uopće ne otvorim laptop. Društvene mreže pogledam tek povremeno. Za mene su mentalno zdravlje i mir važniji od karijere i nekog virtualnog života. Kad sjedim pod maslinom i gledam more, znam da sam na pravom mjestu. Nema tog grada ni aplikacije koja to može zamijeniti.
