The verb faire is irregular in the present tense.

| elle/il/eil/on fait ‘she/he/they/one does/makes’ | elles/ils/eils font ‘they do/make’ |
Attention
- Note the vous form faites. It is unusual because it does not end in –ez.
- être has a similar form in the vous person: vous êtes).
- You may notice, too, the similarity in the third person plural forms of aller, être, and faire:
- ils vont (they go)
- ils sont (they are)
- ils font (they do/make)
