Интересова́ться / Заинтересова́ться чем?

The verb интересова́ться requires a minute of your time. Notice, it’s a cognate meaning ‘to be interested in’. Notice also that it’s a reflexive verb. What does that mean again? Grammatically, it means that the verb cannot take a direct object in the Accusative case. It can take an object in another case, however. Just like with занима́ться, интересова́ться takes the Instrumental case.
