Introduction
Russian, very very mercifully, only has three tenses: past, present, and future. You have learned present and past tense forms. This is Part 1 of how to talk about things in the future. Part 2 is coming up soon!

Быть + Infinitive of Verb (imperfective)
To express an action in the future tense, use a conjugated form of быть ‘to be’ + the infinitive of the imperfective verb you wish to use. Imperfective and perfective are terms that refer to verbal aspect, which is something we will discuss in upcoming units.
You have mostly seen only imperfective verbs in this class, so if you want to describe a future action, you will use a conjugated form of быть + the infinitive of one of the imperfective verbs you’ve know.
