NOUNS
Masculine & Neuter Nouns
-ом / -ем
- брат >> бра́том
- слово >> сло́вом
- америка́нец >> америка́нцем (Remember the 5-letter rule!)
Feminine Nouns
-ой / -ей
- сестра́ >> сестро́й
- ло́жка >> ло́жкой
- Ма́ша >> Ма́шей (That 5-letter rule again!)
- пи́цца >> пи́ццей
-ь > ью
- дверь >> две́рью (This is new!)
Plural Nouns
-ами / -ями
- грибы́ >> гриба́ми
- о́вощи >> овоща́ми
- роди́тели >> роди́телями (Soft endings.)
ADJECTIVES
Masculine & Neuter Adjectives
-ым / -им
- но́вый дом >> но́вым до́мом
- большо́й дом >> больши́м до́мом (This is that 7-letter rule!)
- хоро́шее сло́во >> хоро́шим сло́вом
Feminine Adjectives
–ой / -ей (yes, that’s right, the ending is THE SAME as for NOUNS)
- но́вая маши́на >> но́вой маши́ной
- больша́я пи́цца >> большо́й пи́ццей
- хоро́шая кни́га >> хоро́шей кни́гой (The 5-letter rule applies here but not in the one above!)
Plural Adjectives
–ыми / -ими
- интере́сные лю́ди >> интере́сными людьми́
- бе́лые грибы́ >> бе́лыми гриба́ми
- хоро́шие слова́ >> хоро́шими слова́ми (The 7-letter rule again!)
- дороги́е роди́тели >> дороги́ми роди́телями
