You’ll notice that a lot of your vocabulary this unit revolves around food and drink.

• Looking only at the NOUNS in the vocab list for now, read over and listen to the food & drink words. Then, watch the following video and try to say what you have in your refrigerator at home using the model provided.

Using this unit’s vocabulary only, describe what is currently in YOUR fridge – in Russian, of course, using the following model:

У меня́ в холоди́льнике есть ….
In my refrigerator there is …

У меня́ в холоди́льнике есть йо́гурт, ры́ба, сала́т, фру́кты.
I have yogurt, fish, salad, and fruit in my refrigerator.

*Notice the use of the comma in Russian compared to English. It is typical not to use и (and) before the final word in a sequence. If you do use и you must NOT precede it with a comma in Russian.
