There are TWO new things going on here. Watch for them.

1. Molly and I continue to work through ‘verbs of motion’ here. Pay attention to the use of ‘ехать’ vs. ‘ездить’. Remember that the uni-direction verb ‘ехать’ can refer to just one let of a round trip. It does not always have to mean one is in the process of ‘going’ somewhere. It can refer to habitual motion in one direction. That is, it may just refer to one leg of a (habitual) round trip.

Роди́тели е́дут на да́чу на электри́чке.
(My) parents go / travel to the dacha by electrichka.

Они́ е́дут с да́чи* на авто́бусе.
They go / travel from the dacha by bus.

*Recall с / из + Genitive Case = ‘from’.

На чём вы е́здите?
Do you take the bus? Do you drive? Bike? Scoot?

2. We use a new construction: на чём? to indicate what kind of transportation we take to get somewhere. Notice, this is a Prepositional Case construction:
